Welcome to the White Lion a traditionally quintessential pub set next to a Victorian water meadow of the river Deben.

Dating back to the sixteenth century our main bar stays true to its heritage wooden furniture inglenook fireplace & ales served by gravity from our oak stillage brewed in our Uffa microbrewery located next door in our coach house. (Currently our microbrewery is not brewing we will inform you as soon as the brewery reopens, we have several guest ales available on the stillage)

We take pride in our food, which is prepared fresh everyday from pub favourites to something more adventurous with seasonal specials.
But what really sets up apart is our on-site micro-brewery, where we craft our own beer using the finest ingredients. You can taste the difference in every sip and savour the unique flavours that only our brewery can offer.

Along with our splendid beer garden, friendly staff, wooden gazebos, outside kitchen, shepherds huts traditional marquee for wedding & celebrations we look forward to welcoming you to our dog & child friendly pub.
